Spy Myung-wol gets an extension

Oh, happy day.

Our beautiful Spy Myung-wol couple is getting an extension, according to the awesome girls over at Dramabeans! For those who have been keeping up (like me), you know that things at the end of this week's airings heated up a lot, and news of an extension is actually something that excites me for once.

In which Myung-wol kicks some more ass and Kang-woo finally realizes his own feelings. This was a good episode, and left me salivating for the next, because, let's face it, who doesn't love this show? The whack factor is high and so is the chemistry factor, so you really can't go wrong.

Spy Myung-wol: Episode 6 Mini-recap

Episode 5 had Myung-wol throwing herself at Kang-woo. Episode 6… not so much. She spends most of the hour running in the opposite direction as she begins to realize her feelings for him. She's not alone in that of course, as the boys begin to clue in to their attractions as well.

Spy Myung-wol: Episode 5 Mini-recap

In which Robot Boy gets shaken and the Plastic Princess  has a meltdown. This episode was good for so many reasons, least of which is the fact that Lee Jin-wook is finally emoting. His scenes with Myung-wol cracked me up. Additionally, we've got more crazy "Seduce the Hallyu Star" antics which are always entertaining.

Spy Myung-wol: Episode 4 Mini-recap

This show just makes me giggle like a little schoolgirl. It's so funny in a screwball way, and I love that the characters aren't even trying to be funny, which makes it even goofier. Four episodes in, we've got a distinct goal and numerous players in the game. Here's to hoping that In-ah just falls off a cliff or something...

I loved this episode of Spy Myung-wol for a lot of reasons, least of which is its seeming randomness. The funnies get funnier and we get to see the beginnings of attraction on Kang-woo's part.

Ahh, the funnies just keep a'comin. I'm beginning to love this show already. Let's just hope it doesn't take a nosedive off the deep end anytime soon. The end of the first week in Myung-wol world brought us lots of laughs and set things up for the real plot to begin.

It's breezy, funny and easy to look at. What more could anyone ask from a spy rom com? This is going to be a good summer. I just know it. The first episode of Spy Myung-wol did not disappoint, and I'm hoping the rest of the series lives up to this introduction.

Spy Myung-wol/Beautiful Spy

I'm a little late on the Spy Myung-wol or Myung-wol the Spy or Beautiful Spy (whatever floats your Kdrama boat) bandwagon. To be honest, I hadn't been interested initially because I just don't enjoy watching action-y stuff. Even with City Hunter, I've only been hanging out in the periphery reading Dramabeans recaps. So, when I read about Spy Myung-wol, I blew it off as another Iris and moved on with my life. It wasn't until I was over at Koala's Playground the other day that I saw the extended, four-minute trailer and fell a little bit in love.
