With Spy Myung-wol hitting the halfway mark on Tuesday, it's about time we get to see some OTP movement, and it seems the scriptwriters (of which there are five) all agree. Here's the preview for Episode 8, which airs tomorrow (Aug. 2nd) on KBS2.
Heartstrings, despite its online popularity and vast netizen following, has faltered in ratings since its premiere, first with big-name competitor City Hunter stealing the spotlight, and now (maybe) Protect the Boss. Many viewers complained about the lack of screen time between the two leads, but it seems that's about to change. With Shin finally admitting his feelings last week, Heartstrings is about to give us the couple moments we've all been waiting for. Here's the preview for Episode 10, which airs on Wednesday night (Aug. 3rd) on MBC.
Protect the Boss is gearing up for its very own premiere this week, with Episode 1 airing on Wednesday night as well. The production released an extended trailer to get the fans ready, and it definitely doesn't disappoint. I'm looking forward to another role reversal drama like Myung-wol to round out the rest of my summer, but this one may be another ratings stealer from Heartstrings. Protect the Boss premieres on August 3rd on SBS.
The weekend dramas (like Scent of a Woman and Hooray for Love) which I've been trying (and failing) to keep up with, have been doing solidly, ratings-wise, and are in no danger (yet) of script changes or writer swaps. Nothing much to report on those fronts, though Scent of a Woman seems to be hitting the right notes for a lot of people. It's one to watch, and watch out for, as the chart-topping couple of Lee Dong-wook and Kim Sun-ah light up the screen.
